末次 真美
洗足学園音楽大学器楽科クラリネット専攻卒業。在学中オーディションに合格し、秋山和慶氏指揮、洗足学園管弦楽団とコンチェルトを協演。卒業時に優秀賞受賞、卒業演奏会、ヤマハ新人演奏会に出演。第2回ヤングクラリネッティストコンクール第3位。東京文化会館新進音楽家オーディション合格、同デビューコンサートに出演。
2006年、アメリカのフィラデルフィアに留学し、2008年にテンプル大学音楽科修士課程修了、2009年に専門研究科修了。在学中ソリストコンクールで優勝し、ルイス・ビアヴァ氏指揮、テンプル大学管弦楽団とコンチェルトを協演。
卒業後、フィラデルフィア管弦楽団、ポッツタウン交響楽団、Symphony in C等の数々のコンサートにエキストラクラリネット奏者として出演。2007年にオーケストラアカデミー生として、2011年に室内楽メンバーとしてPMF (パシフィック・ミュージック・フェスティバル) に参加。
フィラデルフィアに10年間滞在し、さまざまな分野の演奏活動、アルバート音楽院、ネリー・ベルマン音楽院のクラリネット講師を経て、2016年に帰国。近年はピティナ公開録音コンサートにて数多くの日本人作品を演奏・録音している。
これまでにクラリネットを海鋒正毅、リカルド・モラレスの両氏に師事。
東京クラリネットフィルハーモニーメンバー。うしく音楽家協会会員。
Mami Suetsugu
Mami Suetsugu is a professional clarinetist in Tokyo. She was born in Yokohama, Japan and began her clarinet studies at the age of 15. She continued her study with Masatake Kaihoko at the Senzoku Gakuen College of Music, where she earned a Bachelor of Music degree. She has toured Taiwan and Thailand as principal clarinet of the Senzoku Gakuen Symphony Orchestra. She has received numerous awards in Japan such as the Senzoku Gakuen Memorial Scholarship, the Maeda Music Award, and Third Prize at the Young Clarinetist Competition. She also participated in the Pacific Music Festival in 2007, and the festival invited her back as a chamber player in 2011. In 2006, she went to Philadelphia, USA to study with Ricardo Morales, Principal Clarinet of the Philadelphia Orchestra, and earned a Master of Music degree at the Boyer College of Music and Dance. She has received the first prize of Temple University Concerto Competition and the Rose G. Hagopian Commencement Prize. During her stay in the USA, she was on faculty at Albert Conservatory, and also has served as a substitute musician with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Symphony in C, and Pottstown Symphony. She is currently performing and teaching in Tokyo and Yokohama area, and a member of Tokyo Clarinet Philharmony. She often appears at the PTNA Public Recording Concert series and performs pieces by Japanese composers.
